Free Crochet Spring Chicks Pattern

Happy first day of spring, friends! I don’t know about you, but the start of a new season always has me itching to create! With all the flowers in bloom and loads of color popping up everywhere, it really gets my creative juices flowing! If you’ve been around for any amount of time, you’ll notice I LOVE color and I especially love crocheting things in every color! Mini dinosaurs, Easter eggs, macarons, the list goes on and on! But this time I chose to make a Free Crochet Spring Chicks Pattern!

I’ve partnered with , my absolute favorite craft store, this month for National Crochet Month! As I wandered the aisles looking for the perfect pastels, I spotted this new Capri yarn and fell in love with all the colors. The yarn is a medium weight level 4 and is a blend of cotton, nylon and polyester. I always think it’s a treat to work with cotton yarn as I don’t use it often but I’m pretty sure that will change after this project! After seeing these yarn colors, I knew exactly what to make!

Okay so enough rambling about spring and yarn! I’m excited to share this free crochet pattern so you can make all the little chicks till your heart’s content! They’re so easy to whip up and make the perfect little amigurumi toys for Easter baskets!
